Your LibDib Account
Can LibDib purchase or store old inventory from a previous distributor?
No, LibDib cannot purchase or warehouse old inventory from a former distributor.
If you have existing product held by a previous distributor, you may buy that inventory back directly. For Gold Makers, our team can assist by arranging LibShip services to help transport the product safely back to your winery, distillery, or another compliant storage location.
From a compliance perspective, LibDib can only purchase products directly from licensed Makers, not from other distributors.
Additionally, our operational model and lean margins don’t allow for the detailed inspection required to confirm the quality and saleability of older inventory. While it may seem more expensive to return product to your facility, it’s the best long-term approach. Selling through LibDib should always represent your brand at its best—fresh, properly labeled, and ready for Buyers.
When starting with LibDib, we recommend shipping fresh inventory directly from your location to ensure an excellent first impression with customers.
